POP false ceilings are made of POP powder. The POP powder is applied on chicken net that provides mechanical strength. The POP powder is mixed with water onsite and then applied on the mesh that is attached to local metal framing system; there is a high chance of wastage during this process.

GypSerra® is made of special high-performance steel that undergoes stringent quality checks and controls to ensure correct and consistent base material for further profiling. The steel comes in rolled coils to maintain the proper thickness throughout its length. Quality checks ensure correct selection of material for strength and corrosion resistance. The steel sheet is work-hardened by passing it through a teethed roller with a patented serration design which gives a typical unique serration pattern on the surface. This serration pattern along with Gyproc Logo embossed on each component are the key identifiers of genuine GypSerra® from Gyproc.

GypSerra® metal components are manufactured with Patented Serration Technology (patent no: 325062). GypSerra® is manufactured through a cold rolled pre-forming process that locally work-hardens the base material, and provides great strength to the false ceiling and drywall systems.
